It just had to be called 'Carbon Fibre Fractal' because that is exactly what it looks like!

Please make sure you view it at close-up resolution (400 x 400 section) as the actual 'pattern' changes slightly at different resolutions. All feedback on images in our fractal art gallery is welcome.

Retro #3 Stripes – I haven’t seen many of them but this is definitely an Art Deco fractal. What an image! Be sure to check out the 400 x 400 close up of this item. I have used the word item on purpose because I can't help but feel the depth and shape of this fractal is more like a fractal sculpture than a fractal picture. There are more retro fractals in the pipeline.

Sub Zero – I was shocked by the time I had finished this image, for me it looked almost like a fractal photograph showing amazing detail and perspective. Whether you see frozen Antarctic pipelines, giant folds of snow or a close up of a cooling system you can definitively feel the ultra cool and clean vibe. You can tell it is sub zero!

Power Surge - There is such beauty in the classic Mandelbrot Set. Rendered in greyscale with 'Log' smoothing there can be few fractal wallpapers as 'electrifying' as this one. This literally is a powerful image.

This fractal design started life (with some others published here) in the early 1990’s. I decided to rework them with ultrafractal and I consider the pleasing results as 'pearls of wisdom'.

Colony – Sometime I plan to get around to creating a bunch fractal planets, this fractal image will definitely have a place there. I am not exactly sure what has colonised the centre rib perhaps you can take a look at the close up version and tell me! A very striking piece of fractal art.

Vortex #1 - This fractal image could sit quite comfortably in a modern art gallery, it doesn’t look particularly fractal like (you could say that about many of my pieces, but it is certainly very true of this one).

The view is from the edge of a double function Julia with high decomp colouring, the feeling of movement is achieved by using three layers as crosswinds.

Cabaret Shadow - This is one of several fractal gallery favourites of mine. Another minimalist offering that is discovered by a technique I often us which is to zoom out rather than in to a Fractal. Vibrant colouring counterbalances the simplicity. It makes a stunning fractal print.

This limited edition fractal art has a very positive and uplifting feel which is ideal for desktop use.

Ahead Of The Curve – This fractal artwork is a perfect example of beauty in simplicity. It is a rework of a 90's fractal which in truth looked very different, this then was the unexpected result of a parameter tweak on a double function Lambda Fractal. It is an image that looks incredibly clean and crisp as a screen background.

Vac Frac – True Fractal Wallpaper in my opinion. Vac Frac has an industrial look similar to vacuum formed plastic tiles; an exceptionally 'shiny' material that could adorn the walls of any sci-fi film set. It is formed from two Mandelbrot layers each massively zoomed out. At the heart of each 'star' is an invisible Mandelbrot boundary. A good example of the fractal as modern art.

King Mandelbrot 1st – I believe the title says an awful lot about this fractal image. The Mandelbrot is an iconic image probably the first that anyone will see when they stumble across the world of fractal artistry. Although often coloured wildly, here I have chosen to use a greyscale and added inside decomp to produce an excellent domed shading effect inside the boundary. Long live the King!
